SUMMARY:Pick Your Own 10/17/26 9:00 AM
DESCRIPTION:Our Pick Your Own Experience – Please Read Before Visiting\nOur Pick Your Own Experience operates a little differently than many other farms\, so please review the information below prior to your visit. \nApple picking continues with some important changes due to this year’s growing conditions! Pumpkins are available as part of our fall experience\, and our Corn Maze is open for the season! It’s a wonderful time to visit the farm and enjoy everything fall has to offer. \n🍎 Important Apple Picking Update – Please Read\nDue to the severe late-spring freeze that impacted our apple crop\, we will soon be running out of apples that are available on trees within reach in our Pick Your Own orchards. \nWhile we were fortunate to preserve much of our apple crop through extensive frost-protection efforts\, many of the remaining apples are located higher in the trees and are not easily accessible to guests. \nThe good news is that apples will continue to be available in our Pick Your Own orchards! \nTo ensure guests can continue enjoying fresh Alstede Farms apples\, our team is harvesting apples from the taller portions of our trees and placing them in bins located throughout our orchard rows. \nGuests will still have the opportunity to visit our beautiful orchards\, select their own farm-fresh apples from these bins\, and fill their farm-issued picking containers. \nPlease understand that traditional apple picking directly from the trees may be limited or unavailable depending on the date of your visit. We encourage all guests to plan accordingly and understand that the apple-picking experience may look a little different than in previous seasons. \nWe appreciate your understanding as we navigate the challenges presented by this year’s growing season and remain committed to providing an enjoyable fall experience for all our guests. \nPick Your Own Experience\nEach guest must purchase a Pick Your Own Entry Ticket\, which includes admission to the farm and one farm-issued picking container based on the crops you choose to harvest. \nApple Picking\nFresh Alstede Farms apples remain available as part of our Pick Your Own Experience! \nDue to the severe late-spring freeze\, apples within easy reach on our trees are becoming increasingly limited. Guests should anticipate selecting their apples from the designated orchard bins as the season progresses. \nApple varieties available will change throughout the season based on harvest conditions and availability. \nPlease check our current What Can I Pick Today? information before your visit for the most up-to-date availability. \nPicking Container Options\nDepending on what is available for picking during your visit\, container options may include: \nProduce Boxes\nChoose from: \n\n5 lb. Box\n10 lb. Box\n25 lb.
