Tents in the Orchards

Share the bounty of our farm with us! It all starts with a scenic Hayride to our fields and orchards where every child and adult will meet Farmer Sam and learn about the crops and how to pick the ripest and juiciest fruit. Following that, everyone will pick their own fruit and put it in a basket. What better way to learn hands-on farming than going in the field yourself?! Also, add a link to his blogs if possible.

unlimited activity wristbands
This includes unlimited pony rides, moon bounce, corn kingdom, wagon train and hay wagon rides, and admission to Pick Your Own fields. The price is $13 per child (ages 2 – 12). We do not guarantee earlier start or later finishing times for the activities. Please keep those times in mind when purchasing activity wristbands as an add-on to your party.

animal feed
Feed our friendly animals located right by the private party area! We have cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, and much more. Bag of feed (vegetables) $1.75/$2.00 each. This is a great activity for young and old alike!

private hay wagon ride
There’s rarely a complaint when a scenic hayride around the farm is included with parties. Our wagons can accommodate up to 50 people per wagon. The ride includes a tour guide as well. The price is $139 per wagon. (NOTE: This is only available in the off-season when Pick Your Own is closed…otherwise it’s the Pick Your Own price.)

giant corn maze tickets (labor day – end of November)
Visit our Giant ten-acre corn maze. Each year we dedicate our maze to a different theme – from sports teams to boy scouts and dinosaurs. Price: please call.

Additional set up time is priced at $60 per hour, if scheduling permits. Only available at hour increments.

The fee is $50 and is non-refundable. Please note, party area locations are assigned the week of the event and they depend on size of all parties on the day of your event.

additional important party information

reservations, deposits & last-minute requests

A deposit of $100 ($50 for Animal Lovers, $200 for Harvest Hall) is required per party to reserve your day and time.  This deposit is non-refundable but it is transferable towards another event ONLY.

An industry standard $30 service fee is added to all events.

Additional deposits may be required for food and/or activity options.

We are happy to meet with you to discuss your event in person. Because we are not always available for drop-in visits, we encourage you to make an appointment so we may dedicate that time to you.

Please note that all accommodations will be made for last minute requests and changes, but additional fees may apply.  Requests for private moon bounces, ponies, campfires, hay wagon rides or party attendants must be made at least 7 days prior to your event.   Any changes made to your party within 72 hours of the event will be assessed a $75 charge.

Changes made the day of your party (not already listed) may be subject to a $10 per change charge.  Please note that if bringing your own food, you must sign an acknowledgment of procedures and tips from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

All outside vendors including but not limited to caterers, DJs/MCs/Bands/Other Music entertainment, photography and videography vendors, clowns, face painters, party and carnival vendors, bubbleologists, florists, cake decorators, party planners, wedding planners and coordinators, event decorators will be subject to $50 outside vendor fee and they must provide a COI where we are listed in the “certificate holder” box with the following entities: Alstede Farms, LLC Lebensfreude, LLC

Failure to comply with this requirement will forfeit the vendor’s right to enter and perform activity on the property.

weather-related cancellation policy
Events are not canceled for weather-related reasons until 3 pm the day before your event. To avoid the stress of rescheduling your event, we recommend waiting until the morning of your event to make that decision. Why? Weather forecasts change hourly and are frequently wrong. Should you decide to cancel/reschedule prior to the 3 pm cut off the day before your event, you will be required to pay a rescheduling fee of $50 and will forfeit your deposit.

Check the weather at www.weather.com the day before your party (no earlier than 3 pm) at the zip code location 07930 and click ‘hour by hour.’ We look at percentages 2 hours prior, during and 2 hours after your event time and determine whether a party should be canceled based on those percentages.

50% + chance of rain
If there is a 50%+ chance of rain starting 2 hours before, during or after your event time you may reschedule your tour with no rescheduling fees.  Your deposit will carry over to the rescheduled date.

less than 50% chance of rain
We will mutually discuss and agree to proceed, reschedule or cancel your tour utilizing the fee structure outlined above.
