A fun place for kids – lots to see and do!
Alstede Farms is a fun family destination that children enjoy visiting. In addition to Pick Your Own, hay wagon rides, and seasonal activities like our A-Maze-Ing Corn Maze and Evergreen Adventure Maze, we offer lots of fun activities just for kids: Pony Rides, Bouncy House, Wagon Train Rides, Giant Hay Pyramid, Toy Duck Races, Barnyard Lasso, and feeding our friendly farm animals. Your children will enjoy visiting a real working farm; they will see farm fields, orchards, and tractors. Please visit our Hours of Operation page for specific times of availability. For your convenience, we offer free parking, dining options, rest rooms, and a baby changing area.
Please note that there are height and weight restrictions on children’s rides.
Pony Rides
One of our farm attendants will accompany your child as they experience the thrill of their first pony ride! Pony Ride tickets may be purchased at the admission shed.
Bouncy House
All kids love to jump and our Bouncy House is a great place to get your wiggles out! Bouncy House tickets may be purchased at the admission shed.
Wagon Train Ride
Children enjoy sitting in their own “train car” as they are pulled along by one of our tractors. Tickets may be purchased at the admission shed.
Visit our Farm Animals
Our friendly farm animals are available every day when our farm store is open. You are welcome to visit them – no tickets are required! They also love having a snack! Animal feed bags are available for purchase in our farm store.
Giant Hay Pyramid
Climb to the top and check out the view! Access to our Hay Pyramid is included with Pick Your Own admission.
Evergreen Adventure Maze
Children of all ages will enjoy traversing this fun and exciting maze! Access to our Evergreen Adventure Maze is included with Pick Your Own admission.
Tractor Drawn Wagon Rides
Take a scenic ride around our farm! You’ll see fields of crops, orchards, greenhouses, and more! Tractor drawn wagon rides are included with Pick Your Own admission.
Duck Races
It’s a race to see whose ducks will get into the water first! Access to Duck Races is included with Pick Your Own admission.
Barnyard Lasso
Try your hand at roping a steer! A wooden steer of course! Access to Barnyard Lasso is included with Pick Your Own admission.
