General Pick Your Own Information:
Alstede Farms offers a variety of fruits and vegetables that you can pick yourself in our fields and orchards. We’re open every day during harvest season which begins in late May or early June and ends in early November. Items available for picking vary depending on month and season. You can view our general harvest schedule as a guideline of what we typically offer for picking each year. The availability and items may vary as weather and other conditions can affect crops and harvest timing.

Tickets may be purchased at our admission shed on the farm or in advance on our website. To view hours, prices and to purchase tickets in advance see our event page.
What’s included with Pick Your Own Admission:
Pick your own admission includes unlimited tractor drawn wagon rides and access to our fields and orchards. Additionally, on weekends and holidays we also have live entertainment from 12 pm – 4 pm, and if available, sunflower or corn mazes depending on season. Guests are responsible to pay for what they pick as an additional charge. You may bring your own containers for picking or purchase containers while on the farm.
Pick Your Own Helpful Tips:
Coming to the farm is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors and actually see where your food is grown. Although there are tractor drawn wagon rides available around the farm, you may need to walk through the fields and orchards as you pick, so we recommend that you wear comfortable, farm friendly shoes, stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and maybe a hat on those hot, sunny days. We have pull carts on site to assist you with your harvest available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Group Admission Discount:
A group is defined as an assembly of 15 or more unrelated individuals, sharing common transportation, and purchasing admission in one transaction using one payment method. The pick your own redemption coupon provided Monday – Thursday 9 am – 11 am DOES NOT apply to groups. Groups receive a 20% group discount when purchasing 15 or more “pick your own” tickets in a single transaction. Tickets may be purchased in person or in advance on our website.
Tax Exemption for Non-Profit Organizations:
Non-profit groups are eligible for tax free admission. Simply provide Alstede Farms with a copy of your tax exemption certificate prior to your arrival.
Through the Operation Give Back program, Alstede Farms honors our veterans with a 10% off all admissions and purchased. Simply show your Morris County Veterans ID card at the time of purchase.

We’re pet friendly and we welcome friendly pets. Please review our pet policies before arrival.
Tickets are good for any date in which the event is held unless otherwise specified.
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. We do not offer refunds due to weather. All activities subject to change without notice due to weather conditions. This farm is a smoke free environment. We do not allow smoking in the fields, orchards, market, or tented areas.
Weekday admission tickets are not valid on holidays. Additional conditions per event/ticket may apply – see event/ticket details.
Please bring photo id and credit card used to purchase online ticket(s) with you to the event in order to gain access. All online orders include handling fee of one dollar ($1.00).
