Have you heard the fantastically fresh news? Our farm store in Chester now has an all-new renovated bakery section! This bakery section offers more variety and distinctive choices to serve you. Take a trip to our farm store and you will immediately notice the fresh, prominent layout and the delicious aromas that greet you.
First Encounters of The Delicious Kind
The first thing you encounter is the wide variety of bakery products from pies to cakes to muffins to donuts as well as bars, cookies, brownies sliced breads, and rolls. The bakery counter features a large, well-lit display case showcasing specialty items as well as a fully stocked dedicated space for pies. Easily accessible are a wide array of artisan loaves of bread, rolls, and pastries. You will find Martin’s brand potato rolls and sliced bread as well as Sidney’s Kosher Rye bread and bread from Anthony & Son’s Bakery as mainstay features of the new bakery department. The refrigerated cases are positioned so you can more easily view our baked goods at eye level and provide a more individualized shopping experience for you along with aiding in freshness.
The new bakery experience allows ease to personally select your baked goods, mixing and matching the varieties to that
day’s preferences. You no longer have to buy a 2-pack of crumb cake muffins, now you can buy one blueberry muffin and one crumb cake muffin to your liking, and change it up the next day! In addition to the renovated space and the way we sell items, sampling bakery items is also brand new. Look forward to special sampling days taking place in the near future. The new bakery counter is more spacious, roomier, and a fantastically wonderful experience. Some of the items you can find on any given shopping trip are apple crumb muffins, lemon bars, crumb cakes, and carrot cakes. Opposite the bakery counter is our wide variety of fresh pies, including peach, harvest apple, and blueberry, available year-round, as well as lemon meringue and chocolate cream.
‘Tis the Season for Enjoying Specialty Items
Seasonal items that are available at very special times of the year that you won’t want to miss are our fresh baked cornbread, featuring jalapeno, blueberry, or peach flavors. More seasonal favorites are our banana bread and muffins featuring blueberries, peaches, and apples. What about apple cider donuts? We have them too. Our apple cider donuts are freshly baked and available year-round in our bakery section and can also be found in our Doughnut Haus food truck located in the Farmhouse District Food Court.
Gluten-free items include Starseed brownies, cookies, and bars. Starseed is a local bakery that specializes in gluten-free,
dairy, and nut-free items and one of our preferred vendors. Stocking these items helps ensures that everyone in your family can enjoy some delicious treats even those with special dietary restrictions.
Prefer to bake yourself? We can provide for that as well! Shop our farm-fresh selections of baking mixes for banana bread, blueberry or cherry crisp, or our scone, beer bread or muffin mixes. Either way, you choose it remember that “Life is What You Bake It”!
