Our Pick Your Own Experience – Please Read Before Visiting

Our Pick Your Own Experience operates a little differently than many other farms, so please review the information below prior to your visit.

Pumpkin picking and fresh seasonal vegetables are taking center stage at Alstede Farms! Head into the fields to choose the perfect pumpkin, harvest fresh vegetables, and enjoy all the sights and activities of fall on the farm. Apples will also remain available for Pick Your Own, although guests should expect that many apples may now be available from farm-provided bins in the orchards as we move further into the season.

And, of course, our Corn Maze is open!

Pick Your Own Experience

Each guest must purchase a Pick Your Own Entry Ticket, which includes admission to the farm and your choice of a farm-issued Produce Box or Pumpkin Credit, depending on the option selected.

?? Pumpkin Picking

The pumpkin patch is open and ready for fall! Take a scenic wagon ride out to the fields and choose your own pumpkin right where it was grown.

All pumpkins are weighed after picking and are priced at $0.89 per pound.

Guests selecting the $9.99 Pumpkin Credit option will have that credit applied toward the total cost of their pumpkin. If your selected pumpkin costs more than $9.99 based on its weight, simply pay the difference.

The Pumpkin Credit is provided in place of the included Produce Box and is not an additional benefit. The credit has no cash value, and any unused portion is not refundable.

?? Pick Your Own Vegetables

Fall is a great time to head into the fields and harvest fresh seasonal vegetables!

The vegetables available for picking will change throughout the season based on what is ripe and ready to harvest. Please check our current What Can I Pick Today? information before your visit for the most up-to-date availability.

?? Apple Picking Update

Apples will also be available as part of our Pick Your Own experience, although availability directly on the trees will be limited as we move further into the apple season.

Guests should expect that many of the available apples will most likely be picked from farm-provided bins located in the orchards. These apples are harvested by our team from the upper portions of the trees that cannot be safely reached by guests, allowing us to continue making our homegrown apples available for Pick Your Own.

Guests may use their Produce Box for eligible apples and/or seasonal vegetables available during their visit.

For everyone’s safety, please do not climb trees, shake branches, or attempt to reach apples that are beyond a safe picking height.

Choose from:

• 5 lb. Produce Box
• 10 lb. Produce Box
• 25 lb. Produce Box

Fill your box with eligible seasonal vegetables and/or apples available during your visit.

?? Pumpkin or Produce – You Choose!

As part of the Pick Your Own Experience, guests can choose one of the following options with their admission:

• A farm-issued Produce Box to fill with eligible seasonal vegetables and/or apples available during their visit, OR
• A $9.99 Pumpkin Credit to apply toward the purchase of a pumpkin.

Guests choosing the pumpkin option may select their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. All pumpkins are weighed after picking and are priced at $0.89 per pound.

Our Family Plan is a great option for families looking to enjoy a fall day together on the farm.

The Family Plan includes:

• Four (4) Pick Your Own Admission Tickets
• One (1) 25 lb. Pick Your Own Produce Box
• Pumpkin Credit

Enjoy harvesting fresh seasonal vegetables and apples, choosing a pumpkin, and experiencing everything else the farm has to offer.

?? Our Corn Maze is Open!

No fall farm visit is complete without a trip through our Corn Maze, which is officially open for the season and included with your Pick Your Own admission!

Make your way through the twists and turns as part of your day before or after visiting the vegetable fields, pumpkin patch, and orchards.

Your Admission Also Includes

Your Pick Your Own admission includes much more than picking! Enjoy:

• Access to our Pick Your Own vegetable fields, pumpkin patch, and available apple orchards
• Your selected farm-issued Produce Box OR $9.99 Pumpkin Credit
• Access to our Corn Maze
• Scenic hay wagon rides around the farm
• Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail, when available
• Giant Hay Pyramid

Please note that all crop availability varies throughout the season and is subject to weather, growing conditions, field conditions, and harvest schedules. Vegetables, pumpkins, apple varieties, and picking locations available during your visit may change.

Check-In Times

The timeframe listed on your ticket is your designated check-in time. Guests have a 30-minute arrival window beginning at their selected time to arrive and check in.

Once checked in, you’re welcome to enjoy the farm and all included attractions at your own pace.

Please Note: If you arrive after your designated check-in window, we cannot guarantee admission or access to activities. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.

Children Ages 2 & Older

All children ages two (2) and older must have their own Pick Your Own Entry Ticket.

Walking Access

Guests are welcome to walk to and from the Pick Your Own fields, pumpkin patch, and orchards if preferred.

Additional Picking Containers

Additional farm-issued Produce Boxes may be purchased during check-in.

Please note that all guests must first purchase a Pick Your Own Entry Ticket before purchasing additional containers.

Any produce picked outside of the appropriate farm-issued containers or boxes will be charged at the current market rate.

Activities Plus Add-On for Children

Guests may also purchase an Activities Plus Pass, which includes:

• One (1) Pony Ride
• One (1) Wagon Train Ride
• One (1) Bounce House Ticket

Children’s Activity Hours

Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekends & Holidays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Farm Policies

• Outside food and outside picking containers are not permitted inside the farm or Pick Your Own fields.
• Only approved farm-issued containers may be used to harvest produce.
• Due to food safety regulations, pets, dogs, and other animals are not permitted inside the farm or Pick Your Own areas. Trained service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.
• Crop varieties, picking locations, and attractions may change throughout the season.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER.

Activities, attractions, and crop availability are subject to change without notice due to weather, field conditions, and agricultural operations.

Alstede Farms is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in the fields, orchards, market, or tented areas.
