We’re in the heart of the harvest, and it’s one of our favorite times to celebrate fresh eating and healthy living. Come on a journey of discovery with us and learn what’s in season now on our farm.
Stone Fruit Season is Here
Our orchards are brimming with juicy, sun-ripened stone fruits — those beloved summer treasures with sweet, tender flesh and a pit at the center. Stone fruit season began with our sweet and tart cherries, which kicked off the harvest with a burst of early-summer flavor. Though cherry season has now passed, there’s still so much to enjoy.
- Apricots: Tangy and sweet, perfect for snacking or baking. Available in limited quantities.
- Peaches: Three kinds — classic yellow, extra-sweet white, and the fun, flat donut peach. (Yellow peaches are in season now; other varieties are coming into season soon.)
- Plums: A beautiful array of sugar plums, Asian plums, and Italian plums, each with its unique flavor and texture. (Asian plums and Italian prune plums are coming into season soon.)
These fruits are picked at their peak in flavor and nutrition, making this the best time to enjoy them fresh, preserve them for later, or add them to your favorite recipes.
Berries Bursting with Flavor
If you’re looking for something bright, bold, and antioxidant-rich, now’s the moment to enjoy our beautiful berries — a true highlight of the summer harvest. In our fields and markets, you’ll find red and golden raspberries alongside juicy blackberries, each offering their own unique flavor profile and nutritional benefits.
Red raspberries are a classic favorite and most plentiful, perfectly sweet-tart and incredibly versatile. Golden raspberries bring a milder, honey-like flavor and a stunning pop of color to any dish. Our blackberries are plump, rich, and packed with deep flavor — perfect for elevating both sweet and savory recipes.
Whether you’re adding them to your morning yogurt or cereal, baking them into pies, crisps, and cobblers, or freezing them for smoothies and preserves, these berries are best enjoyed fresh from the field. And of course, nothing beats snacking on them by the handful, sun-warmed and straight from the container.

Vegetables Coming into Their Own
Soon, many of our vegetables will also be ready for pick-your-own — a fun way to connect with your food and your family. In the meantime, our markets are already stocked with freshly harvested favorites from our harvesting fields, including:
- Summer squash – Light, versatile, and easy to grill or sauté. We harvest our summer squash this time of year every day, so you can be guaranteed the healthiest, freshest squash.
- Field tomatoes – Flavor-packed and perfect for slicing. Although our tomatoes are still growing and ripening in the fields, we are a couple of weeks away from them being ready to pick.
- Eggplant and peppers – Coming soon and worth the wait! Our high tunnels are producing an array of peppers right now, allowing us to harvest them earlier and later into the season.
