The holiday season has arrived, and while our fields are quieter this time of year, the farm is as full of life and excitement as ever. After a busy harvest season, late November shifts our focus from fall crops to festive celebrations, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests for one of our favorite traditions of the year—Country Christmas on the Farm!
Country Christmas Begins
Starting Friday, November 28, and continuing every weekend throughout the season, Country Christmas offers a magical farm experience—and admission is free. Whether you’ve been visiting for years or you’re ready to start a new family tradition, we have something here for everyone.
A Tractor Wagon Ride to Remember
Your holiday visit begins with a scenic tractor-drawn wagon ride, complete with cheerful holiday music to set the mood. The ride leads up to our Christmas Tree Barn, set atop a picturesque hill overlooking rows of evergreens, a perfect backdrop for seasonal photos and special moments.
Warm Up and Get Cozy
Once you arrive at the top, you’ll find warming stations to shake off the chill—or you can enjoy a complimentary cup of hot chocolate or warm apple cider. It’s the perfect way to soak in the atmosphere before selecting your tree or exploring all the holiday offerings around the barn.
Find the Perfect Christmas Tree
Whether your family likes a fresh-cut tree or the experience of cutting your own, we’ve got you covered. Choose your favorite from our selection, and our team will give it a fresh cut, wrap it, and secure it to your vehicle for an easy and stress-free trip home. Prefer to get hands-on? Grab a saw and cut your own for the full farm experience!
Why Cut Your Own Christmas Tree?
Bringing home a real tree isn’t just a beautiful tradition, it’s a sustainable one, too. Fresh-cut trees:
- Are a renewable resource
- Support local farmers and agriculture
- Are grown on land that isn’t usable for traditional crops, such as rocky or hilly acreage
- Help reduce carbon emissions, since every tree absorbs carbon while growing
Unlike artificial trees, which are made from plastics and often shipped long distances, a real tree from the farm supports the environment and the local community.
More to Enjoy at the Christmas Tree Barn
Once you’ve found your perfect tree, stay and explore:
- Photo opportunities surrounded by rolling fields and winter scenery
- Friendly farm animals, eager to say hello
- A charming, European-style German Christmas Shop
- Seasonal treats and a special holiday gift shop filled with unique finds
From start to finish, it’s an experience designed to make lasting memories, whether you’re sipping cocoa with loved ones, capturing the perfect family photo, or breathing in the fresh pine-scented air.
Make This the Year for a New Tradition
There’s something special about choosing your tree straight from the land where it was grown. It connects families with the rhythms of the season and the place their tree came from. It slows things down and reminds us what the holidays are really about—quality time, simple joys, and shared memories.
We hope you’ll join us this Christmas season and become part of a tradition that grows year after year, just like the trees on our hillsides.
