Ingredients:
• 1 package puff pastry, thawed
• 2–3 Granny Smith (or other baking) apples, peeled, cored, sliced 1/2-inch thick
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Mix cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
- Roll out half the puff pastry and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Keep the other half chilled.
- Dip apple slices in cinnamon sugar to coat both sides.
- Wrap each slice with a pastry strip, threading through the center and tucking the end underneath.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
- Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F and bake 10–15 minutes more until golden.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
