Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail – Closed for the Season – Reopening in 2024

Alstede Farms is the home of the Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail. We have sunflowers in bloom from July – October. Visit us to enjoy these breathtaking flowers; take photos, cut your own, or just marvel at their beauty. Admission to our sunflower trail is included with your Pick Your Own admission.

Sunset with Sunflowers Event

Celebrate summer by attending our Sunset and Sunflowers Event! From 5 pm to dusk, journey through our sunflower trail, enjoy live music, wine and cider tasting by Tomasello Winery, all outdoors under the beautiful evening sky. Delicious food & tasty snacks will be available for purchase from The Farmhouse District. Treat yourself to homemade ice cream, featuring seasonal flavors such as peach and peach blueberry, while soaking up the rural farm atmosphere at night.

You may also cut your own sunflowers for an additional $2.50 per stem payable upon exit from our pick your own area.
You may bring your own cutting shears to cut sunflowers. If you don’t have shears, you may rent them at our PYO shed for a $20.00 refundable deposit.
