Macerated Strawberries in Honey, Vanilla and Orange Liqueur

1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
2- 3 T local honey
2 T. orange liqueur
½ t. vanilla extract
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour, until a syrup forms.
