Spring is Here at Alstede Farms
Spring has officially arrived at Alstede Farms, and we’re ready to welcome families to enjoy the best of the season! From seeding the fields to prepping for our exciting spring events, this season promises to be both fun and educational for everyone who visits. Whether you’re a long-time fan of the farm or a first-time visitor, there’s something special waiting for you.
One of the highlights of our spring season is the Springtime Family Festival, a favorite event for families looking to experience the magic of the farm. Springtime at Alstede Farms is all about getting up close and personal with our adorable baby farm animals. It’s the perfect time to meet the newest members of our farm family, from fluffy lambs to playful baby goats to fuzzy baby chicks. This event is truly a hit with kids and adults alike!
While you’re here, take a scenic tractor-drawn wagon ride through our beautiful fields as part of the all-inclusive package. You might even catch a glimpse of our fruit trees beginning to blossom, setting the stage for a fruitful season ahead. For those looking to add some extra fun, we have plenty of exciting activities like mazes, Easter egg hunts, and the chance to snap some unforgettable photos with the Easter Bunny.
To make your visit extra special, start your day with a Farm-to-Table Breakfast at our Easter Bunny Breakfast or elevate your experience with our Bunny Hop Brunch. Both offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal with your loved ones, plus plenty of chances to take photos with the Easter Bunny to preserve those precious moments for years to come.
Before you head home, don’t forget to stop by our Farm Market. Pick up a fresh-baked fruit pie, some delicious Alstede Fresh jam or preserves.
This event marks the official start of the season on the farm, but that’s just the beginning! Later next month, we’ll be kicking off the Opening Day of our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), offering weekly boxes of fresh, locally grown produce starting at the end of April. Mid-May will bring our highly anticipated Mother’s Day Brunch, followed by strawberry picking in late May, which signals the start of our Pick-Your-Own season.
Throughout the rest of 2025, we’ll be hosting a variety of events and Pick-Your-Own opportunities, typically running through mid-November, weather permitting. It’s going to be an exciting year at Alstede Farms, filled with fresh produce, family fun, and plenty of farm adventures.
The Easter and Springtime Family Festival runs on weekends from April 5th to 19th and weekdays from April 14th to 18th and April 21st. Our Breakfast and Brunch events will be hosted on April 12th & 13th and April 18th & 19th.
